Inspiration

Minimalism is more and more in the news, but it is not easy to let go of things. So could all your stuff affect your happiness?

When I first came to Canada over 40 years ago from Switzerland, the one thing that surprised me the most was that people parked their cars in their driveway because their garage was filled with stuff. In Switzerland a garage is for the car, one of our more expensive investments, if there then was still room in the garage some other items were stored there.

Now, once the garage is overflowing that stuff is moved to a storage unit and then promptly forgotten. What a what waste of money.
